Società Orchestrale di Fonterutoli - new project, old roots
The Società Orchestrale di Fonterutoli – Bar & Grocery Store opened in its new guise in 2017. It dates back to 1896, when it was inaugurated as a meeting place and rehearsal space for musically inclined locals of all stripes. For over a century, the Società was the hub of Fonterutoli's social life, and a tribute to a period when communities created their own entertainment.

The place has been spruced up now but it remains true to its original convivial spirit. Locals and guests from afar come here to grab a typically Tuscan snack, or an Italian-style aperitivo.
